OpenAI to Launch Autonomous AI Agent for Task Automation in Early 2025

OpenAI is reportedly preparing to release a new autonomous AI agent, known as “Operator,” designed to perform tasks on behalf of users. Slated for a January 2025 launch, Operator will automate tasks such as booking travel, filling out forms, managing schedules, sending emails, writing code, and more. The service aims to streamline workflows and increase productivity, which potentially reshapes the way that users interact with these new AI innovations. Many other AI companies are following suit as well.
