Children Launching DDoS Attacks Against Schools in UK

UK Law enforcement found a large increase in use of denial of service (or DoS) attacks. These attacks are being committed by children and have been used against schools in the UK. Law enforcement is taking preventative measures to educate across the country highlighting which laws are being broken, and the potential punishments, including no longer being allowed on the internet and having all devices confiscated.

Zero-Day Issues in Chrome, Apple iOS Fixed

Google has announced that there are several high severity zero-day exploits currently afflicting Chrome. One of these exploits has been addressed and Google advises updating Chrome to version 98.0.4758.102 or higher. As the other exploits get addressed, patches will be made available.
Apple released a patch for an exploit labeled CVE-2022-22620. This exploit can allow an attacker to execute code without the owner’s consent. Devices affected are i devices, OS version 15.3.0 or lower, or Monterey 12.2.0 or lower. Run the updates to protect from this exploit.
The Google flaws are listed as CVE-2022-0603, CVE-2022-0604, CVE-2022-0605, CVE-2022-0606, CVE-2022-0607, CVE-2022-0608, CVE-2022-0609, and CVE-2022-0610.
