Microsoft Fixes Bug In Classic Outlook That Removed Copilot Buttons
by Justin Erickson
Microsoft has fixed a bug that caused Copilot entry points to disappear in Classic Outlook for Windows for some users. The issue affected users with the Copilot Chat (Basic) license after updating to newer Outlook builds, while users with the paid Microsoft 365 Copilot license were not affected. This issue was resolved with a service-side change. If you were affected by this and need a fix, try these:
“…update to the latest build by selecting File > Office Account > Update Options > Update Now. Those who can’t upgrade their client to fix the bug can also work around the issue by reverting to the previous Current Channel build (16.0.20026.20168) or using the new Outlook or Outlook Web Access (OWA).”
